5 Books to Ignite (or Deepen) Your Feminine Awakening Journey

Womb Awakening Book

Dear reader,

Today I’d like to share five books with you that have been foundational on my Feminine Awakening journey.

These are five of my all-time favorite books, which I recommend regularly to friends and clients.

They’re experiential, filled with fascinating information that will support your path, and rooted in true feminine wisdom.

Womb Awakening: Initiatory Wisdom from the Creatrix of All Life by Seren and Azra Bertrand

1. Womb Awakening: Initiatory Wisdom from the Creatrix of All Life by Seren and Azra Bertrand

Womb Awakening is a mystery school within a book. It will take you on a profound Womb Shamanism journey, covering topics like: Womb Cosmology, Feminine Womb Enlightenment, Wombtime Origins of Shamanism, the Lunar Mysteries, Sacred Union, the Grail Lineage of Love, Dragon and Dove Alchemy, the Sacred Masculine as Guardian of the Womb, and the Return of the Feminine Christ.

It’s a vast map to the ancient territory of inner knowledge. A kind of feminine bible that I feel doesn’t need to be read linearly, but can be read intuitively, according to the chapters and themes that call to you.

Works great as an oracle too! (Flip the pages until your body says “Yes” and read the page you land on as an oracular message for your day).

Wild Feminine by Tami Lynn Kent

2. Wild Feminine: Finding Power, Spirit & Joy in the Female Body by Tami Lynn Kent

This was one of the first books I read on my Womb Awakening journey, and it’s a wonderful, deeply healing, and educational read.

Tami Lynn Kent is a women’s health physical therapist and the founder of Holistic Pelvic Care.

The book is filled with personal stories from Tami’s journey and the women she’s worked with, helpful and easy-to-integrate information on female health, and practical exercises to journey with your own body.

What I love about this book is that it addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the womb and female body.

If you’re currently on a womb healing journey, this is a must-read.

The Chalice and the Blade Riane Eisler

3. The Chalice and the Blade: Our History, Our Future by Riane Eisler

The Chalice and the Blade is an incredible book by cultural historian, scholar, and activist Riane Eisler, who takes us back to our prehistoric culture, and through detailed research, shows us how our societies were once partnership-based, until the oncoming of a dominator-based system.

It’s a hugely important body of work for those of us who feel a call to understand our hidden and forgotten history.

I’ll get a little sneaky and share a few other of my favorite historically and academically-researched books. Passionate Enlightenment by Miranda Shaw, The Alphabet versus the Goddess by Leonard Shlain, and Sheela Na Gig: The Dark Goddess of Sacred Power by Starr Goode are all amazing, well-researched, mindblowing books on how we as a collective arrived at the fragmented, patriarchal world in which we now live.

These books also provide hope, humor, spiritual insight, and a greater vision for where we are, and where we are going.

Women's Anatomy of Arousal by Sheri Winston

4. Women's Anatomy of Arousal: Secret Maps to Buried Pleasure by Sheri Winston

Most of us haven’t been taught about the intimate workings of the female body, especially in relation to arousal, pleasure, and orgasms.

Sexuality teacher Sheri Winston is full of tenderness and humor as she initiates us into the power and science of the female erectile network, and how to return to a holistic, celebratory, self-loving sexuality.

The book includes detailed maps as well as exploration exercises to practice on your own or with a partner. The tone is both sacred and fun.

A heart-opening, healing, awakening book for all of us to understand and celebrate the feminine body, and reclaim what Sheri beautifully calls our erotic birthright.

Also available on Audible and read by the author, and she makes it a whole lot of fun.

Magdalene Mysteries by Seren and Azra Bertrand

5. Magdalene Mysteries: The Left-Hand Path of the Feminine Christ by Seren and Azra Bertrand

I read this fantastic book twice in 2020, and it’s become (gasp!) my favorite book.

The best way to summarize it may be that this book is a priestess. And she took me on a wild, emotional, catalytic ride of awakening, and remembering.

Connecting with Magdalene Mysteries has been a deeply personal experience that continues to stay with me.

In this book, Seren and Azra bring together and unify the red thread of the priestess lineages in a way that’s never been done before, going back all the way to the Neanderthals to reveal a mystifying story.

An incredible master (mistress!) work of re-weaving our ancestral feminine wisdom traditions for modern times! You’ll find a wealth of historical and research-based evidence, with the right dose of spice to bring it all to life.

The book also includes gorgeous images (including full-color plates), personal stories, and a section dedicated to your own Magdalene journey.

Are you ready for a new book companion? Which book from the list above immediately calls out to you?

With love,

Jade
