Let’s start by defining a threshold.

By ‘threshold’ I mean an incredible, out-of-the-ordinary opening in which a new frequency intrudes upon your life.

It may come through an internal breakthrough, a life-changing revelation, or a vision you receive in spiritual communion.

It can also manifest externally as an encounter, a relationship, or a new experience that powerfully shifts reality as you’ve known it.

The distinct energy signature of a threshold is wildly expansive, life-giving, and heart-opening.

It brings an incredible freshness and sense of possibility in.

A new frequency has just entered your life, and opened the door to a new timeline.

So what happens next?

Often, a younger, idealistic part of us hopes the path will be linear.

Because when we’re at the threshold, the power of the energy is undeniable.

We can see exactly where we’re meant to go.

And then...

An unexpected challenge rolls in.

Likely, more than one.

Chaos, activation, overwhelm follow.

The initial momentum dissipates, and that gorgeous, undeniable threshold energy seems to have disappeared, or turned elusive.

The reality is that thresholds require a very specific kind of energetic posture.

Because what you can expect at a threshold is that the core patterns of your life will surface.

The threshold, which is often an answer to your soul prayers and the fruition of your deep alchemical inner work, initiates a massive energetic movement.

It will activate not just your own body, soul, and psyche – but every realm of your life.

It will send a ripple of energy across the entire tapestry of your life.

And... there’s more!

Your threshold crossing will not only transform you on an individual level.

It will also activate your ancestral nervous system and family lineage patterns.

And... the web of your relationships, especially those in your close orbit.

At a threshold, you can expect the energetics to be very active, and often, temporarily intense.

They’re reflecting dynamics and patterns that have been there all along beneath the surface of your life, and are now playing out visibly, in real time, before your eyes.

This is why thresholds need to be met with a deep intentionality.

With consciousness, wisdom, and skill.

And to be successfully crossed, they require that we engage with them from our power.
